Nishihara Reina is a participant in the Liar Game Tournament. She was No. 14 in the second round.
Appearance and Personality[]
Nishihara appears younger than the majority of the Liar Game contestants, most likely due to her wearing her black hair in bunches. She has a bright and cheerful personality, which is complementary to her youthful appearance. Despite being bubbly she also seems rather gullible, having fallen for scams not once but twice.
History[]
At an earlier time Nishihara was caught in a "catch sale" and has been made to buy paintings, English language learning kits and health products which was driving her to bankruptcy. She later applied for model searches, unaware that that was also a scam.
Plot[]
Round II[]
Nishiharu is first seen listening as Leronira explains the game. In the middle of the explanation, she exclaims that it is impossible for her to win as she was not strong and that she was at a disadvantage by having to carry a heavy stack of bills. Leronira replies by saying that everyone has already been given their 100 million yen in the form of a rare, 3-carat pink diamond. Nishihara appears in the background during the early stages of Round II, such as being seen at the buffet table and talking with Hosoe Jyun and Tamura Makiko, before being selected to join Nao and Akiyama's eight man group. Nishimura was chosen because she was female and therefore couldn't possibly be Mr. X. She voted "No" in the first round, and was subsequently eliminated. She was able to drop out thanks to the efforts of Nao and Akiyama.
